Mission Trip

Sponsored by Bethany Lutheran Church of LaPorte, IN, the youth mission trip is a yearly summer activity of the church. This trip provides an opportunity to serve and to grow, through serving the needs of others. Trips are usually in June and have been to locations such as Denver, Manassas, Niagara Falls, and more.

Photos show youth earning by serving working at a LaPorte soup kitchen earlier this year. Youth participate in various service projects throughout the year at BLC and in the community in order to earn money towards the expense of the trip. From December through June, BLC teens serve over 1,100 hours!
